 To believe Jesus looks like the white blonde haired man we have all been shown is not historically accurate and is in some ways perverse to have an image of the son of God.  A while back there was a question as to whether or not the nails pierced Jesus' hands or wrists, whether his feet were resting on a block of if they were nailed directly to the cross and adjustments have been made. Why has nobody addressed Jesus' light brown hair and pale skin even in these modern times when racism is considered by many to be dead? I understand that Jesus' skin colour isn't really addressed in the Bible but we can be certain he wasn't pale skinned. Don't you think they should at least give him a healthy tan? Or would a non-white Jesus seem a little less pure? ...

 The human mind can't help reasoning that since the "begotten son" of an African will look like an African, and that of a Chinaman as a Chinese, and that of an Indian like an Indian: so the begotten son of God aught naturally to look like God. Billions of beautiful pictures and replicas of this "only begotten son of God" are put in peoples hands. The "Savior" of the Christian is more like a German than a Jew with his polly nose. So naturally, if the son is a white man, the father would also be a white man (God?). Hence the darker skinned races of the earth subconsciously have the feeling of inferiorly ingrained in their souls as God's "step children".  I mean, anything is possible if you're religious, and think that God could have chosen to make Jesus born any color, but if you don't believe in that stuff like I do, it seems most obvious that Jesus would have been a darker like the people of the region.  I Just wanted you to know that I wasnt trying to be divisive or funny about the whole black Jesus thing. I was under the impression that the "white" Jesus was indeed supposed to portray the Jewish Jesus. Othewise the question would have been "Why do whites worship a white Jesus and blacks a black Jesus when Jesus was Jewish?" Just because I say that blacks have black Jesus in their house doesnt mean that I believe that Jesus was white. That is nothing more than an assumption on your part. An incorrect one I might add. Anyway, the question never gets answered because everyone has to assume I mean something I dont. Its ignorant to me. Very well though, I didnt mean to offend, it really was a legitimate question, but people play on here so much I guess it was hard to tell. Sorry.  I know this is going to stir up some controversy but ever since slavery white people have geniously strategized a way to keep black people in America a slave forever wheather phisically or mentally. Even when we were slaves, we were not allowed to read, we had to go to church every sunday and praise a false white Jesus and have our "inferiority" beaten into our heads. In the 80's the U.S. govt. F.B.I./C.I.A. manufactured crack cocaine and flooded our black communities with it almost destroying a whole generation. Now they do it with rap music and media sending our youth subliminal messages saying "youre not cool or you're a "square" if you're not a thug who sells drugs and has a bad attitude". The majority of my people are brainwashed. My opinion is that we have been strategically brainwashed since slavery because of the fear of the white man of what were capable of doing.  I've been and the only white people I saw there was tourist. Jesus walking forty days and forty nights through the desert sun................come on no spf 40 then.  Why should Jesus be 'white' in white churches and black in African churches? Don't people want to live with the truth? Wouldn't a dark-skinned Jesus on the cross in white churches in America help open the minds of people to other races? Why do white Christians need a white Jesus?
