 I work in a smaller office (10 people) and three of them just gossip about everyone and everything. I over hear them talking about others and they are not very nice. Should I be concerned about what they say about me behind my back. The weird part is that I work in a law firm and it is two lawyers and one secretary doing the gossiping. Is this normal. I have worked in many offices but they were usually larger and I didn't have to hear the gossip. I feel like this secretary gets to sit in the back and gossip while the other two secretaries have to work. They all three go to lunch together and many times I have walked to the back office and they all just quit talking> How can I get this to stop. ...

 See there's these girls, who we'll call Sam and Pam (Creative I know). So me and my friend hate these girls, but because i recently started a new school year and Sam is on my bus, and Pam eats lunch around me, because of this I was able to get some JUICY gossip about them, technically it's just stuff I witnessed them doing that my friend would get a kick out of because she's currently at a different school. I'm DYING to tell her, or tell anyone! But then again i promised not to gossip anymore, so should I just confide in my best friend or take it to the grave.  I HAVE A NEW EMPLOYEE WHO LIKES TO GOSSIP. SHE WAS EVEN GOSSIPING ABOUT ME TO A GUY THAT WORKS FOR ANOTHER BUSINESS (WHOM I HAVE A MAJOR CRUSH ON)...I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HER. SHE DOESN'T KNOW THAT I LIKE THIS GUY BUT SHE KEEPS ON ASKING ME IF I DO OR NOT. I JUST IGNORE HER. TODAY ANOTHER OF THE ASKED HIM HOW COME HE DOESN'T TALK TO HER ANYMORE AND HE SAID BECAUSE I SAID THAT HE WASN'T ALLOWED TO TALK TO THEM. WHICH WAS TOTALLY NOT TRUE. I ASKED HIM "WHO SAID THAT" AND HE SAID "HE COULDN'T SAY". SO I TOLD HIM "I NEVER SAID THAT AND THAT I DIDN'T CARE IF HE TALKED TO THE GIRLS." THEN I TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK TO WORK. NOW IT SEEMS THAT MY BOSS AND OTHER PEOPLE THAT WORK AROUND ME ARE BEING COLD TOWARDS ME. I KNOW I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG. I AM NOT A GOSSIP. SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK. ...
