I've had my cat for about 7 months (she was stray/abandoned). She took to using a litter box without any trouble which was really nice. We started with a standard 3-4 inch deep tray. She threw litter everywhere when she'd dig, so I got a covered one. Everything was fine until recently. Suddenly she seemed to stop covering her twosies, and she had a tendency to come flying out of the litterbox afterwards. The smell would eventually drift through the rest of the house, and I'd have to go cover it myself. We moved 2 months ago, and she's put on some weight (it's hotter than where we used to live, so she's less active) and I thought maybe she didn't have enough room in there anymore. I took the cover off and she immediately resumed covering her waste like always. We use crystals now instead of clumping litter, so there is less for her to kick out. Anyone else have trouble using covered boxes? Do cats really like the cover, or is it just humans projecting modesty onto them? No, I never was able to use the flap that came with it. She refused to push her little head through! lol ...

What is with all the people on here over the last few days? People are asking if they should get a tattoo ect... and the first thing most people are saying is "yeah get the tattoo but get it some place that can be covered". I hate ignorant people that think it's ok for people to get tattoos as long as they are covered. I see tattoo as beautiful art work and i love to see it on people why cover it? MY QUESTIONS ARE..... Do you feel like you have to cover your tattoos? Do you find people with tattoos less attractive because they have ink? Would you not date someone just because they have visable tattoos? How do you view tattoos and why? ...

My daughter is pregnant and is covered under Kaiser through my plan at work. If I assume grandchildren are not covered by my plan at work (I don't want to tell them just yet), will this grandchild be covered when it's born in the Kaiser hospital? I read somewhere that when a mother is covered, even if the new infant is NOT going to be covered on the insurance that there's a state law that all newborns are automatically covered by the mother's insurance for the first 31 days of life. ***This pregnancy is a sensitive issue and I don't want to check yet with my work about coverage.*** ...

I just moved to a new place and the situation I am in causes me to have the litter box in my room. Since I would like to cover it for obvious reasons, I bought a new covered one for my kitty. She wouldn't use it, so I took the lid off so she could get used to using the new box. That worked fine, but when I put the cover on, she refuses to use it. Is there anything I can do to make her use it with the lid? Thanks for your help. ...

I found a good recipe for chocolate covered cherries but my husband doesn't like cherries. He does on the other hand like strawberries. Has anyone tried making chocolate covered strawberries with dough (like is used for chocolate covered cherries)? Would this be good with fresh strawberries? Or would it be better to use some other kind of strawberry? Is there such a thing as maraschino strawberries?? LOL ...

We just found termites in one of our bedrooms yesterday and the we thought about contacting our insurance ocmpany. We tried reading through our policy and it was didn't seem to say whether or not this was covered (those things are so hard to understand). We called the insurance company and asked if this was covered. They said that they would have to come out and look into the damage and then they would tell us if it was covered or not. What is that all about?? So, can they come and see that it is too bad and say "oh, no sorry....we don't cover that". They explained that they see how long it has been going on and determine it from there and see if it has been going on a long time and whether we should have known about it. Of course we didn't know about it! We just found it while we were making repairs to a windowsill. Is it basically our word againsts theirs? Does any of that make sense? ...
